The Formation of the World 世界成就品 part1

爾時,普賢菩薩摩訶薩以佛威力,徧觀一切世界海、一切眾生海、一切佛海、一切法界海、一切眾生業海、一切重生根欲海、一切諸佛法輪海、一切三世海、一切如來願力海、一切如來神變海;如是觀察已,普告一切道場眾海諸菩薩言:佛子!諸佛世尊知一切世界海成壞清凈智不可思議,知一切眾生業海智不可思議,之一切法界安立海智不可思議,說一切無邊佛海智不可思議,入一切欲解根海智不可思議,一念普之一切三世智不可思議,顯示一切如來無量願海智不可思議,示現一切佛神變海智不可思議,轉法輪海智不可思議,建立演說海智不可思議,清靜佛身海不可思議,無邊色相海普照明不可思議,相及隨好皆清靜不可思議,無邊色相光明輪海具足清靜不可思議,種種色相光明雲海不可思議,殊勝寶焰海不可思議,成就言音海不可思議,示現三種自在海調伏成熟一切眾生不可思議,勇猛調伏諸眾生海無空過者不可思議,安住佛地不可思議,威力護持不可思議,觀察一切佛智所行不可思議,諸力圓滿無能摧伏不可思議,無畏功德無能過者不可思議,住無差別三昧不可思議,神通變化不可思議,清靜自在智不可思議,一切佛法無能毀壞不可思議。如是等一切法,我當承佛威力,及一切如來威神力故,具足宣說。為令眾生,入佛智慧海故;為令一切菩薩,於佛功德海中得安住故;為令一切世界海,一切佛自在所莊嚴故;為令一切劫海中,如來種性恆不斷故;為令於一切世界海中,顯示諸法真實性故;為令隨一切眾生無量解海,而演說故;為令隨一切眾生諸根海,方便令生諸佛法故;為令隨一切眾生樂欲海,摧破一切障礙山故;為令一切眾生心性海,令凈修治出要道故;為令一切菩薩,安住普賢願海中故。
At that moment, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva by means of the supreme power conferred by Varirocana observed oceans of all worlds, oceans of all sentient beings, oceans of all Buddhas, oceans of all Dharmadhatu(法界), oceans of all sentient beings’ Karmas, oceans of all sentient beings’ roots and desires, oceans of all Buddhas’ Dharma wheels, oceans of pan-three periods of time, oceans of power followed by all Buddhas’ vows, and oceans of all Tathagatas’(如來) miraculous deeds. Having observed those, he declared to all oceans of bodhisattvas in the assembly,” Disciples, every Buddha and the World Honored One’s wisdom which enables them to realize the formation, disintegration and pureness of all oceans is incredible. Their wisdom of penetrating all sentient beings’ karmas is incredible. Their wisdom of realizing the abode of Dharmadhatu is incredible. Their wisdom which enables them to tell innumerable oceans of Buddhas is incredible. Their wisdom which enables them to know all sentient beings’ roots and favors is incredible. Their wisdom which enables them instantaneously to see through everything of the past, present and future is incredible. Their wisdom which enables them to reveals oceans of Buddhas’ boundless vows is incredible. Their wisdom which enables them to demonstrate all oceans of Buddhas’ miraculous deeds is incredible. Their wisdom of turning the Dharma wheels is incredible. Their wisdom of preaching wherever and whenever is incredible. The pureness of their body is incredible. Their boundless figures which all glitter with brightness are incredible. Marks from their bodies all come with pureness are incredible. Their oceans of auras equipped with pureness are incredible. The ocean of bright clouds from various figures is incredible. The light from their bodies, like jewelry radiance, is incredible. Their voice which can respond to needs of every sentient being is incredible. The ocean of their unlimited three-karma (Body, Language and Mind) makes it incredible to cultivate and mature every sentient being. Their courage makes it incredible to cultivate every sentient being without giving up one. Their abode in the state of Buddha is incredible. Their entry into the realm of Tathagata is incredible. Their magnificent and powerful support to sentient beings is incredible. Their might to observe all Buddhas’ wise behaviors is incredible. Their perfect might is incredibly invulnerable. Their Abhaya (fearlessness) merits are incredibly superior to every being. Their abode in undifferentiated (No-difference) Samadhi is incredible. The miraculous deeds from their supreme might are incredible. Their wisdom of pureness and unlimited freedom is incredible. The invulnerable Dharmas Buddhas preach is incredible. All thus Dharma I am conferred by the supreme might of Varirocana and all Buddhas, being fully qualified to expound.” To make all sentient beings attain oceans of Buddha’s wisdom; to make all bodhisattvas abide stably in oceans of Buddha’s merits; to make oceans of all worlds adorned by all Buddhas’ unlimited freedom; to make Buddharoot kept existent in all oceans of Kalpas; to make the true meaning of Dharma revealed in oceans of all worlds; to preach to all sentient beings in accordance with their knowledge; to make all sentient beings originate goodness and extinguish evilness by means of diverse expediencies according to their roots; to make all sentient beings’ obstructions removed according to their inclination; to make all sentient beings complete sentient beings’ purification and reach extrication in accordance with oceans of their thought; to make all bodhisattvas abide in Samantabhadra Bodhisattva’s oceans of vows.”
