爾時，普賢菩薩摩訶薩告諸大眾言：諸佛子！世界海有十種事，過去、現在、未來諸佛，已說、現說、當說。何者為十？所謂：世界海起具因緣，世界海依住，世界海形狀，世界海體性，世界海莊嚴，世界海清靜，世界海佛出興，世界海劫住，世界海劫轉變差別，世界海無差別門。諸佛子！略說世界海，有此十事；若廣說者，與世界海微塵數等，過去、現在、未來諸佛，已說、現說、當說。
At that moment, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva said to every present bodhisattva, “Disciples, there are ten factors in oceans of worlds that Buddhas of past, present, and future have preached, do preach, and will preach. What are those ten factors? They are cause-and-condition of the origination and establishment; the dependence and maintenance of oceans of worlds; the shape of oceans of worlds; the quality(體) and nature(性) of oceans of worlds; the adornments of oceans of world; the pureness of oceans of worlds; Buddha’s different manifestation in oceans of worlds, the existing time period and changes of oceans of worlds; and the Non-differentiation of Dharma nature in oceans of worlds.” “Disciples, if told in brief there are ten factors; however, if told in wide, there would be as many as particles to form oceans of worlds, which Buddhas of past, present and future have preached, do preach, and will preach.”
